I couldn't resist the appeal of the holy grail of round figures: 100 miles. I hadn't really thought about it until Saturday night, but after the 40k on Monday, I was pretty well set up for it. A consistent 15-17k in doubles during the week had me at 123k on Sunday morning and after a 24k long run, the century was so close that it would've required more mental strength not to go for a 13k run that night.
My legs were feeling great all week and I had many a strong progression run. Felt pretty buggered when I woke up this morning though and was absolutely starving!
Recovery time now!
