I pulled up pretty sore after my efforts at the Burnley Half last Sunday, so have taken it easy this week. Training volume has still been quite high, averaging over 3 hrs per day, but it's all been on the bike or the cross trainer. Only 12k of running so far out of fears for my achilles tendons. What started out as calf soreness turned into an inflamed achilles on Wednesday and I've been desperately icing it and massaging with anti-inflammatory cream over the last few days to try and get it right in time for the Sri Chimnoy half tomorrow morning. It feels allright now, but I'll see how it goes. Hopefully the 15k ride to the start line will get it loosened up.

Weightwise: down to 62kg
