Finally out of the clutches of San Sebastian 14/12

I've been dilligently writing blogs these past 7 days, but haven't had access to internet until now. So loyal reader, I hereby present to you 9,152 words (13 pages) of unedited and uncensored garbage. I've posted them in reverse order to maintain some suspense. What city am I in now? You'll just have to read and find out (or just skip to the last entry, whatever, cheaters)!

Here's the entry from the 14th:
Yay! We're on the road and away from San Sebastian finally! Google maps was our saviour. We didn't follow the route it proposed to the most minute of detail, but it told us roughly where we needed to go to get out of the city and on to some quieter roads.

I had an ambitious plan to get up at 6:30 and be out of the Pension by 8 but...I went back to sleep after the alarm went off (after staying up til 12:P) and by the time I'd gone for a run and we'd had breakfast and packed everything up, it was 11. Oh well, at least we still got to Tolosa today (35km away) and for the most part, the weather was gorgeous:) It was 10 degrees and sunny (we even had to put our sunglasses on!) almost the whole day and only rained a little bit towards the end.

The route was quite nice. A few hills that Luke had to walk up, but for the most part it was very manageable. Our bikes are now running really well. I think we're ready to get some distance under the tyres.

We're staying in a rundown looking Pension in the middle of Tolosa. I think we're the only people in the whole place haha. We were just glad there was somewhere to stay. The first place we tried was run by this old lady who confused the hell out of us. I mentioned that we had two 'bici's, and she started talking about the 'policia muncipalia'. I'm not entirely sure what she wanted us to do (I interpreted the situation as there not being enough room in the Pension for the bikes and we could've stored them at the police station, but it was closed), but after we went back the second time, she made it clear that she didn't want us, so we went to this place instead.

I'm looking forward to a shower.. Hopefully tomorrow we'll get an early start and make it to Pamplona (home of the running of the bulls).

A German school in San Sebastian? Weird

The street is so steep you have to take an escalator up

Because we're such idiots, we found this sign funny. Academy of idiots? Academy of idioms? (actually Academy of languages...)
