Compartment syndrome?

I've had a pretty bad week this time round. I was aiming to 65 minutes per day, but it just hasn't happened except for that one run on Monday.

Tuesday: 2.55k at 5:02/k
Wednesday: 6.10k at 4:48/k
Thursday: 5.35k at 5:35/k

I've been getting quite severe pain up the back of my leg. It doesn't feel like my achilles, but it's bad enough to make me not want to do much more than half an hour:(

I'm getting a bit worried to be honest. I was having a read on the net (oh dear, another cyberchondriac:P) and the tightness in the front of my legs could be compartment syndrome. That scares the shit out of me because the only remedy is surgery. I'm going to book in to see a physio next week unless I see a dramatic improvement.

--------------
I have a ski race on Saturday. Don't think I'll do well.

--------------
Without running, life is a bit depressing:(

EDIT: Was thinking about it, and the onset of the symptoms was around the time I started 'The creatine experiment'. Had a bit of a read and apparently compartment syndrome is sometimes linked to creatine supplementation. I'm stopping straight away and I really hope that's all it will take to bring me back to normal. If I'm not better by the end of August, I'll go see a physio.

Take care my friend~
Though I am no idea about some difficult words you've mentioned about the injury/potential injury you are facing now, it should be pretty serious.
